Hello, my name is Hayley. I run Paws and Restore Canine Massage. I am based in Twickenham, and offer you a Clinical Canine Massage therapy service in the comfort of your own home. The areas I cover include southwest and west London, Surrey and west Middlesex.
I have studied canine anatomy and physiology, four specific massage disciplines with over 50 techniques, including the trade-marked Lenton Method, to improve your dog’s condition, and have also completed over 800 hours of practical work over two years.
I am a member of the Canine Massage Guild, a professional body that observes the professional standards and code of ethics for therapists, and complies with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Exemptions Order 2015. In short, this means I will not treat your dog without prior veterinary approval. Also as a Guild member I am also required to complete 25 hours of CPDs a year to ensure that I remain up to date with treatments and new developments in the industry.
As a licensed Canine Conditioning Coach I am able to offer a specific tailored exercise programme designed for your dog to strengthen the canine core. A strong core will not only strengthen your dog but will also support the more superficial muscles, preventing them from overworking and becoming more susceptible to injury.
On a more personal note, I grew up with dogs, and have always felt I had a natural affinity with them. Dogs are my passion, and I have wanted to work with them for many years, although I didn’t know in what capacity. I knew what I didn’t want to do, then one day I had a eureka moment! And once it came to me, I knew that it was my path to be a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist.
